coin shop stock inventory
 

I am wondering what the average hole in the wall midwestern coin shop inventory prices out at. Not any huge mail order or internet operation, just the old style of coin shop op.

I was buying some stuff to fill folders last weekend and I couldnt believe that this guy had all this crap. The stuff on display was just the tip of the iceberg.

what kind of inventory do they carry? 25, 50K? for a small shop, say, 500 sf of retail space in a strip mall.

Easily 50K retail if they've been successful in business for a number of years.

I have friends who do not have shops but rather only set up at coin and gun shows. They have told me that 50K is a minimum for anyone who wants to try to earn a percentage of their income buying and selling at these shows...with table space, gas, and maybe a motel room costs for overhead.
